Tony Fahey
Tony Fahey commenced his career in the transport industry in 1962. His company, P.Fahey & Sons operated over 800 trucks in a major distribution business, the main focus of which was in the UK and Europe. He also ran a world wide shipping and air freight division and opened a network of warehouses throughout Europe and Ireland.
Tony started a new parking company, Ringway Airparks Limited in 1982 and developed a major truck park facility close to Manchester airport on a 40 acre site with a capacity for 4,000 cars and 4,000 trucks. It was the largest truck park in the UK and also accommodated storage of containers and pallets.
Roger Moss
A bachelor of Science in Estate Management with over 30 years business experience in both property and consumer markets, following work with Union Bank of San Francisco and Project Manager at Trafalgar House, the former international property, construction and shipping group.
Roger was Chairman of BCP (British Car Parks LTD), the largest off-airport car park network operator in the UK, which owned and operated a 5,000 space car park serving Gatwick Airport and the London area.
Roger is also Managing Director of Grosvenor Securities LTD, a substantial private UK and international property investment and development group, and has been involved in the investment and acquisition of office, shopping, leisure, apartments, hotels and residential houses and apartments.
Roger is also involved in an executive and non-executive capacity, in the development of both the storage and decontamination business, and the marketing and sales of new media-orientated products.
Michael Parker
A Bachelor of Science/ Honours graduate in Logistical Sciences from Liverpool University, Michael started his career with Excel Logistics, the international logistics group and part of the worldwide NFC group.
During his 6 years at Exel Logistics, Michael was involved in all areas of transport and operations management, together with distribution and warehouse control and distribution centre management.
Michael moved to National Car Parks (NCP) as a Contracts Manager in the North West of England and latterly as a project manager for NCP's new on-street and off-street enforcement division.
Michael is now an independent Logistics Consultant working on a world wide basis.
Philip Marley
Philip Marley is founder and Chief Executive of Ely Property Group plc. A business graduate, Philip was formerly the founder and Chief Executive of Marley Media. He is a specialist in property and tax incentive property investment and established Student Accommodation Services in 2002.
Philip established Ely Property and Ely Property Management to expand into the non-student residential market in Ireland and the UK respectively. He floated Ely Property Group plc on the London Stock Exchange in 2005. Ely is the largest provider of student accommodation in Ireland and oversees the management and letting of its own student blocks.
In 2006 Ely become a wholly owned subsidiary of the Newcourt Group plc, of which Philip is also a Director.
The Newcourt Group are a market leader in the provision of facility management services, including the design, management and operation of worker viallages, staff training, recruitment, security and management of retail and leisure facilities.
Philip
is also Chairman of Metic Solutions plc, which is the largest
UK based structural glazing company.
Stephen Moss, CBE
Stephen Moss is a Barrister and MBA from London Business School whose career began in corporate finance in the City with Hill Samuel.
In 1989 he became Managing Director of BCP Ltd, the UK’s leading Airport Parking Booking Service which he left in July 2007 after combining it with Q-Park, the Dutch car parking Group.
He was instrumental in growing a small car park investment at Gatwick into a 5,000 space operation incorporating the UK’s first multi-storey block-parked car park. BCP also had an IT and call centre based bookings business handling over 1 million transactions with a turnover of some £45 million in the UK and Germany.
Stephen was until recently Chairman of two parking Trade Associations and personally involved in Government lobbying and public affairs activity on parking, travel and transport issues.
Stephen has a history of involvement in other service industries and a particular interest in education and training in hospitality and tourism for which he was awarded an MBE in 1991 and CBE in 2002.
